Industry experts will discuss the strategy and challenges behind real-time marketing, Wednesday, March 26 at 6–8 p.m. CDT.

The panel — hosted by the PRSA Chicago Young Professionals Network (YPN) at GolinHarris — will examine the roles and responsibilities of the young professional on a real-time marketing campaign, and what he or she can do to deliver impactful results.

Account Supervisor, OgilvyOne (@OgilvyOne)

Efrain Ayala is an account supervisor at OgilvyOne, where he leads digital strategy for one of the largest accounts in the Ogilvy network. His varied background in digital, PR, media and social enables him to consistently deliver effective solutions within integrated marketing campaigns for brands and businesses.

Prior to joining the Ogilvy family, Mr. Ayala led global social media programs for The Pampered Chef, establishing the international reputation management structure; and developing and leading social-media training programs for a network of more than 65,000 consultants. For his work there, he was nominated for a WOMMY Award.

Mr. Ayala hods a bachelor’s in public relations and advertising from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind., and he regularly guest lectures at his alma mater on social media.

SVP and Executive Digital Director, GolinHarris (@GolinHarris)

Mary Jo Behrman is executive director of digital at GolinHarris. There, she leads the Chicago team of analysts, community managers, designers, developers and strategists to help big brands and Fortune 100 companies in such diverse industries as business solutions, CPG, retail and quick-service restaurants (QSR) to deepen their relationships with consumers, employees and partners through effective digital, mobile and social engagement.

Prior to joining GolinHarris, Ms. Behrman led the strategy practice at Moosylvania Marketing in St. Louis, where she provided brands like Bacardi, Capital One and General Cigar with everything from brand identities to digital integrations. Before her time in marketing, Ms. Behrman taught college and high school mathematics.

Ms. Behrman holds a master’s in theoretical mathematics and a bachelor’s in mathematics from St. Louis University.

Vice President, Content, Edelman (@EdelmanPR)

Erin Shea is a vice president with the consumer practice at Edelman, specializing in content and creative strategy. Ms. Shea combines a rich history in print and digital media to bring smart and efficient ideas to life. She has worked with brands in content planning and creation, creative strategy, editorial planning, operational processes and overall digital best-practices.

Prior to joining Edelman, Ms. Shea worked as a producer for Oprah.com. There,  she helped to launch social media embassies in support of “The Oprah Show;” and led strategy and training for community integration at Oprah.com, and the site’s SEO initiatives. Prior to that, she was a web editor at the Chicago Sun-Times, and an editor for Restaurants & Institutions magazine.

An early adopter of all-things digital, Ms. Shea has been blogging since 1999, and her work online has been recognized by the CBS “Early Morning Show;” Chicago Tribune; “Good Morning America;” MSNBC.com; The New York Times; O, The Oprah Magazine; Shape; and Women’s Health. Her book, “Tales From the Scale,” was named one of the top five health books of 2005 by the Wall Street Journal.

Ms. Shea holds a bachelor’s in journalism from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.
