The YPN April Workshop will feature two seasoned professionals from Carol Fox & Associates, Chicago’s largest marketing and public relations firm dedicated solely to promoting arts, special events and entertainment clientele, who have worked in senior and mid-level roles for many event public relations campaigns.

Our Panelists:

Nick Harkin, Vice President at Carol Fox & Associates, with more than 15 years promoting high profile events

Nick is a one of Chicago’s most notable public relations practitioner with more than 15 years of experience promoting events. Nick joined the Carol Fox & Associates in 2001 and has worked on a wide array of events including Madison Square Garden’s Radio City Rockettes in Chicago and in 15 markets nationwide. Other events include promoting the Blue Man Group in Chicago, Boston and New York; the Dalai Lama’s visits to Chicago; the Milwaukee Art Museum; the Gene Siskel Film Center; the Auditorium Theatre dance and music presentation; Dr. Oz’s Health Expo in Millennium Park; Lookingglass Theatre; Chicago Children’s Theatre; and Kohl Children’s Museum. Prior to this role, Nick served as a vice president of Margie Korshak Inc. (MKI), where he supervised the entertainment department, and personally represented the opening of the Oriental and Palace Theaters, the Symphony Center Presents of jazz and world music concerts, more than 100 Broadway musicals and theatrical productions, and numerous dance, film and television show presentations. Before joining MKI, Jim was director of marketing and publicity for Ballet Chicago, and publicized theater productions at Cheryl J. Lewin Associates, Fox Theatricals and Pegasus Players.

Jenny Topolosky, Senior Account Executive at Carol Fox & Associates, with 6 years of event public relations experience.

Jenny’s current and past clientele includes the national touring production of South Pacific at Rosemont Theatre, Cavalia, Cirque Shanghai the Randolph Street Market Festival and Studio BE among others. Previously she has assisted the Chicago International Film Festival, and launched Chicago’s Children’s Theatre. Jenny previously worked with Margie Korshak Inc. where she created and implemented public relations strategies for Broadway IN Chicago Season Series (Cadillac Palace Theatre; Ford Center for the Performing Arts; Oriental Theatre; Bank of AMerica Theatre), which encompassed several national touring productions and United States premiere of “Dirty Dancing, The Classic Story On Stage,” as well as the Chicago companies of “Wicked” and “Jersey Boys.” Jenny also previously spent two years as the publicist and events planner at Redmoon Theatre.
