Our Speaker: Sarah Karl, Managing Director at ASGK Global Strategies
Sarah Karl is co-chair of the PRSA Chicago membership committee, with almost ten years of PR experience.

Sarah Karl is a managing director at ASGK Public Strategies. She manages strategic communications and public affairs programs for the firm’s Midwest clients in industries ranging from energy and telecommunications to healthcare and urban planning.

Prior to working at ASGK, Karl worked as a Vice President at Weber Shandwick managing integrated program development and overseeing execution for multiple food and consumer packaged goods clients. Her portfolio included several Kraft Foods brands, such as Oreo, as well as the National Pork Board, creators of The Other White Meat campaign. As leader of the Kraft Foods Nabisco business, Karl directed programs that sought to elevate the consumer experience and ultimately drive sales. For the National Pork Board, Karl provided planning and media relations counsel to drive awareness and consumption of pork nationwide.

Prior to Weber Shandwick, Karl spent five years at Edelman Public Relations working in its food and beverage practice for clients such as Dairy Management Inc., Clorox Specialty Food Brands and Bush Brothers.
